*Primary Responsibilities*:
* Develop, track, analyze, and manage Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) to measure operations
* Complete monthly Inventory accounting for WIP, F/G reconciliations & entries
* Oversee access to accounting systems access in coordination with IT
* Maintain oversight for company cash balances between entities, assist in cash flow control measures, and manage petty cash and bank reconciliations
* Utilize current and historical data to forecast and predict future costs
* Analyze financial information to help develop annual budgets and forecasts and track variances to actual financial performance
* Provide support to the CPA with planning, Year-end tax preparation, inventory, and expense allocation
* Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
* Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
* Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
* Provide technical accounting expertise and guidance to internal teams
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and controls
* Utilize QuickBooks or other accounting software to maintain accurate financial records
* Cost data accounting/job cost rollup
* Complete or assist with weekly payroll
* Generate/monitor inventory reports on a predetermined basis to assist with monitoring inventory excess
* Identify and recommend cost savings opportunities throughout the facility
*Secondary Responsibilities*
* Oversee the Human Resources department and ensure proper facilitation of the following:
* Corporate and Employee insurance coverage; including building, liability, dental, health and life insurance plans
* Recruiting/hiring/firing
* New employee orientation
* Training opportunities (company-wide, supervisory, etc.
)
* Ensure MPL is in compliance to all local, state and national laws
*Experience*:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
* Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
* Proficiency in accrual accounting principles and practices
* Experience with financial statement preparation and analysis
* Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software
* Experience with Sage ERP or similar ERP system preferred
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
*Leadership: *This position requires oversight of Accounting/Payroll functions and corresponding staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,000.
00 - $82,000.
